Strategy & Mechanism

System Nova’s entry logic follows a three-step process:

  1. Trend Confirmation: A 50-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA) determines the prevailing direction. Only long signals above the EMA and short signals below.

  2. Momentum Check: A custom RSI oscillator (14 period) confirms overbought/oversold extremes—ensuring signals fire only with momentum behind them.

  3. Volatility Filter: The 20-period Average True Range (ATR) must exceed a user-defined threshold before any alert—so you avoid those flat, noise-ridden sideways markets.

How to Install & Configure

  1. Download SystemNova_v1.ex4 from MQL5.software.

  2. Copy into your MT4 folder: ...\MetaTrader 4\MQL4\Indicators\.

  5. Open Inputs tab to adjust:
